Kay Beauty, Katrina Kaif’s makeup brand has been launched in UAE. In about four years since the launch, the brand has expanded extensively from metro cities to Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns in India, making a gross margin value of Rs 1.5 billion. Kay Beauty has made its presence in both the offline and online platforms with more than 300 stores and online orders catering to over 1,600 cities in India.
According to Katrina Kaif, the aim of the brand was to take it global and share the product offerings with customers from different parts of the world. Kay Beauty venturing into GCC is a big step as it allows them to foray into a market that is passionate about Indian cinema as well as beauty.
Kay Beauty products will be available in UAE through omnichannel retail presence in collaboration with omnichannel retailer Nysaa. It’s philosophy of catering to all skin types will help them do well as GCC has people from different ethnicities, ages, and genders.
According to Co-Founder of Nykaa and CEO of Nykaa Fashion, the brand should do well in the GCC region as it is a mecca of beauty of enthusiasts who enjoy trying new products and brands.
