Popular hospitality group Crown & Champa Resorts is all set to launch the five-star Kagi Maldives Spa Island in the Maldives’ North Male Atoll in September 2020. The 50-villa property will accommodate solo travellers, friends, and couples with a 360° wellness experience. It is just a 15-minute seaplane or 60-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. Kagi has collaborated with admired architect Yuji Yamazaki on the design of the resort. At the heart of the island will sit Kagi’s 1500-square-meter spa and wellness hub. Kagi will also house two restaurants, a modern gym, dive centre, three bars, and a house reef.
