The Indian Medical Practitioners Co-operative Pharmacy and Stores Ltd (Impcops) has entered the beauty and personal care segment in India and is set to launch six cosmetics products by January 2024. The production and testing process of more products is underway and they should be launched in another six months, taking the total to 20 products.

According to Dr. R Kannan, the society’s President, Impcops is entering the cosmetic products market for the first time. With this step, Impcops plans to cement its place in the beauty and personal care market. The initial six products are made with herbal extracts using Ayurveda and Siddha methods, including, hair oil, shampoo, footcare cream, face cream, face pack cream, and kumkumadi oil to protect the skin. They have finished the clinical studies of the products and all set to be launched soon.
