Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has expanded its footprint with the opening of Taj Guras Kutir Resort & Spa in Gangtok. The inauguration ceremony had Hon’ Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) who graced the occasion with his presence.
The resort is spread across 14 acres of land amidst the lush green panorama of Sikkim. The architecture is a fine blend of contemporary design and traditional Skimmese architecture. Each room is aesthetically donned with a traditional Thankaa, Buddhism inspired painting.
The resort has great dining options, the all-diner machan, a pan-Asian speciality, and Guras Lounge & Bar for drinks. It has ornately designed banquet and meeting rooms and J Wellness Circle, a wellness centre. For entertainment, it has a dedicated games room too.
