Chanel No.5, the iconic scent synonymous of luxury is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a covetable limited edition packaged in everyday packaging. Originally created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1921, the fragrance was put into a lab bottle and named No.5 as it was the 5th sample give to her by her perfumer. For the 100th anniversary, Chanel’s global creative head was inspired by the concept of turning functionality into luxury and that gave birth to the beauty capsule. The Factory Collection consists of seventeen products with packaging segmented into three design themes: a paint atelier, a garage and a kitchen. Pop-ups will support the limited-edition collection in eight cities worldwide. The product will also be available in Chanel’s fragrance beauty boutiques, 32 of its fashion stores, and online platforms.
