Huda Beauty, the popular cosmetics brand founded by influencer Huda Kattan, has undergone a major rebranding effort with the introduction of a new logo and packaging design. The Dubai-based company announced the change through a video on Kattan’s YouTube channel, which has already garnered over one million views.

The new logo features a lowercase, sans-serif font with rounded edges, accompanied by a supporting monogram. The design has been created in-house and is described as “bold but approachable” by the Huda Beauty team, as it aims to stand out from competitors.

Kattan, who co-founded the brand with her husband, explained that the rebrand is an opportunity for the company to define its identity and values. She emphasized the importance of empowering customers and creating a specific vibe and feel for the brand. The rebranding process began with a thorough internal shake-up, including the discontinuation of the make-up/skin care hybrid line Glowish.

The new design will be rolled out gradually across the Huda Beauty product portfolio, with Easy Bake Loose Powder being the first to feature the redesigned packaging. The new packaging boasts rounded corners, embossed lettering, and a removable flexible sifter.

Kattan acknowledged that saying goodbye to the old logo was difficult, as it represented a significant part of the brand’s history and her personal struggles. However, she is excited about the change and ready for this new chapter. The rebranding process will be documented through a series of videos on the Huda Beauty YouTube channel. Fans and customers can expect to see more updates on the brand’s social media channels as the changes are rolled out.
