The hair and beauty industry struggles with excess work load and morale issues all around the globe. Melbourne-based salon ‘Pamela Rose Hair’ claims to have found a solution to these issues. The salon has said ‘NO’ to the Monday-Friday grind and switched to the four-day work week. The British multinational company, Unilever reported success in the implementation of the four-day work week schedule in New Zealand for 18 months and now has implemented a 4-day work week 12 month trial for Australian operations as well.
