The Estée Lauder Companies has launched the third edition of BEAUTY&YOU India, a program designed to support and spotlight Indian-focused beauty brands. The initiative, created by ELC’s New Incubation Ventures and in partnership with NYKAA, aims to discover, encourage, and propel the next generation of Indian beauty entrepreneurs. The program will be accepting applications from July 16 to August 29, 2024, and winners will be announced at a live event in Goa on November 16, 2024.
The 2024 program builds on the success of previous years, with a focus on “Supercharged Futures” – a theme that highlights the growth of the beauty industry in India, driven by increased innovation, significant investment, and a consumer base seeking high-quality solutions. The program seeks applicants with innovative ideas and technologies that address existing challenges in the Indian beauty market, including skin care, makeup, hair care, and fragrance categories.
An exciting addition to this year’s program is the BEAUTY&YOU India Bootcamp, which will provide winners with one-on-one mentorship sessions with industry leaders Falguni Nayar, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and Rohan Vaziralli. This unique opportunity is designed to provide valuable insights and mentorship to the winners and affirm the program’s commitment to fostering the growth and development of Indian-focused beauty entrepreneurs.
Since its inception in 2022, the program has seen a significant increase in applicant numbers, doubling in size for the second edition. This growth has enhanced the visibility and opportunities for winners, underscoring the program’s positive impact. The third edition of BEAUTY&YOU India is poised further to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship in the Indian beauty industry.
