Coty plans to launch touch-less fragrance testing device for testing perfumes. It is intended to be rolled out in a year with the trials starting in July in the main European markets. Thereafter trials in Asia too are planned. This new style of perfume testing is less invasive and in line with maintaining safety and hygiene in times of COVID. Unlike the spray testers used now, the new device will expel only a single droplet of liquid to the body or on the blotter. This will ensure that the air is not over saturated with the fragrance, overwhelming the senses. Coty has partnered with Êverie, a French start-up that works in the field of smart devices, diffusion technologies and micro-dosing, for this project.
