International beauty educator Bhakti Sapke has expanded her footprint into Nepal with the launch of the International School of Aesthetics and Spa (ISAS) Academy in Kathmandu.
This significant venture, involving an investment of nearly Rs 45 million, underscores her confidence in Nepal’s creative talent, skilled professionals, and its rising appetite for quality training in the beauty and wellness sector.
Sapke, a global figure in beauty education and currently the President of CIDESCO Section UAE, brings over two decades of experience to this venture. She has been instrumental in shaping beauty education across borders and has already established 11 ISAS centres across India, Dubai, and Sri Lanka. Plans are also underway to extend the brands presence to the United States.
The Kathmandu academy will offer more than 45 internationally certified programs across various domains such as cosmetology, spa therapy, salon and business management,
professional makeup, nail art, eyelash extensions, and wellness treatments. These courses are designed to meet global standards and are backed by affiliations with prominent international bodies like CIDESCO (Switzerland), Pivot Point (USA), LAPT (London), KHDA and DHA (Dubai), and TVET (UAE).
These certifications will open doors for students to pursue international careers, particularly in markets such as the UAE, Europe, Canada, and Australia. Sapke conveyed that her decision to invest in Nepal stemmed from the country’s untapped potential and a burgeoning beauty industry ready to embrace global benchmarks.
With this new chapter in Kathmandu, ISAS aims to not only elevate the standard of beauty and wellness education in Nepal but also empower the country’s youth with skills that meet international demands. The launch signifies a broader movement toward recognising beauty education as a serious professional pursuit with vast global opportunities.
