In a powerful move that signals growing support for India’s homegrown beauty ecosystem, Bhaane Group has announced a strategic investment in Simply Nam, the clean beauty brand co-founded by celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni and Swedish entrepreneur Hanna Strömgren Khan.

Simply Nam has rapidly emerged as a cult-favourite among Indian consumers, thanks to its high-performance, skin-inclusive, and climate-conscious products. Its viral Kajal sold over 100,000 units in just three months, while the Hydrating Lip Balm has become a staple in beauty kits across the country. With a 40% monthly customer repurchase rate, the brand has already established a strong consumer community.

Through this partnership, Bhaane Group — the fashion and retail venture founded by Anand S Ahuja and Sonam A Kapoor — will help Simply Nam scale its product portfolio, expand its omnichannel presence, and double down on innovation in clean, cruelty-free beauty tailored for Indian skin tones and needs.

Anand S Ahuja, Co-founder of Bhaane, said, “At Bhaane, we believe in backing founders building for India’s future. Simply Nam is rewriting the rules of beauty, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.”
