Aman has appointed Maria Sharapova, the tennis legend, as its global wellness ambassador. She will co-create retreats across various Aman properties that will concentrate on performance, preparation, and recovery for the body and mind. Sharapova will host the first retreat at Amanpuri, Aman’s flagship property in Phuket, Thailand in February next year.
During this retreat, the tennis champion will mentor participants via interactive and informative sessions. There will be group activities, Q&A sessions, and dining experiences too. She will have specialists from her 20-year long career to assist her in this venture. She will also use innovative technologies that are a part of her wellness routine to create this retreat. As part of the retreat, participants will be given an optimized performance breakfast menu, an hour of strength and conditioning session, followed by reflexology, Banya treatment, and an Aman x 111Skin face mask.
Speaking about her new role, Maria Sharapova said that through this venture, Aman and she can offer top notch coaching and training to elite athletes that will help them excel in their professional and personal lives.
