StyleSpeak takes you ‘behind the scenes’ to reveal the exclusive ‘look’
With this in mind, the Creative Team of HBS 2024 Shoot viz. Najeeb Ur Rehman –Consultant Ambassador Schwarzkopf Professional & Godrej Kerasmooth, Cherag Bambboat, Celebrity MUA, Founder, Magical Makeovers & Academy and Fashion Photographer Arjun Chipalkatti, ideated on the perfect ‘LOOK’ for the show.
The Inspiration
The look for HBS 2024 was conceptualised to be edgy and power packed – an amalgamation of Retro Glam and New Trends. Najeeb and Cherag conceived the unique hair styles and makeup drawing inspiration from the 60’s era. A blend of the feminine touch and subtle, but glamorous makeup and styling with the 60’s vibe to reiterate the retro appeal. This Avant-garde look did complete justice in creating a picture perfect look for HBS 2024.
A final Mood Board was created by the Creative Team with inputs from the Stylist, and the Studio and Shoot Day was finalised!

The Shoot
The Shoot was ‘all systems go ‘ on the shoot day!
Well known for creating hair magic, Najeeb flew down from Delhi exclusively for the shoot to the XO Studio in Mumbai. With all teams reporting in, the studio was buzzing with activity and was the hub of creativity that day!

The model, an Indian face, was prepped a day prior with a subdued hair colour to ensure the highest accuracy level. She was extremely comfortable and co-operated with the stylists who put her at ease. Apart from hair and makeup, different outfits were tried to experiment with different moods and looks, carefully selected to complement the hair and makeup, in keeping the current minimalistic trends.
Setting new trends
For the face of HBS 2024, Najeeb experimented with blonde hair colour on Indian skin, a rare combination that turned out to be a super hit. For an edgy feel, Cherag used colours like purple, lilac that fades in and out on the lips and eyelashes to add the extra zing and drama. The metallic sheen and hints of shimmer and shine on the eyes and lips gave a futuristic appeal to the look that is flawless and boasts of luxury.

The shoot ended with the beautiful shots captured through Arjun Chipalkatti’s creative lens and the entire team celebrated in appreciation of the Creative Team’s skills in creating the fabulous Avant-garde, retro looks. The final look shaped up to match everyone’s expectations and then it was time to pack up!
