The 56th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna wrapped up on a high note, reaffirming its position as the premier global beauty industry event. With over 255,000 attendees from 150 countries and 3,128 companies from 65 nations, the exhibition showcased more than 10,000 brands, offering a dynamic platform for networking, trendspotting, and business growth.
“This year’s edition was record-breaking,” said Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, noting a 4.5% increase in visitors from 2024. Cosmoprof’s Buyer Program played a key role in fostering business opportunities, supported by Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ITA – Italian Trade Agency, which brought in 80 global delegations.

The exhibition featured a 5.8% expansion in space, reflecting the beauty sector’s continued growth. 29 country pavilions highlighted international innovation, while exports of Italian beauty products surged by 11.4% in 2024, underscoring the industry’s economic significance.
Cosmoprof also served as a trend incubator, with a strong focus on sustainability, personalization, and cutting-edge technology. “The industry is evolving rapidly, from AI-driven beauty solutions to wellness-focused products,” said Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof.

As a key driver of Made in Italy exports, the cosmetic sector is now valued at €16.5 billion, employing 400,000 professionals. With Cosmoprof 2026 set for March next year, the event continues to shape the future of global beauty, promising even more innovation and business opportunities.
