Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN held its second edition between 14-16 September in the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, in Bangkok. There were over 1,000 brands and exhibitors at the event from all across the globe along with 13,255 attendees from 69 countries. The exhibition also had over 250 buyers from Thailand, Europe and ASEAN countries and five Country and Group Pavilions from Thailand, China, Italy, Japan, and South Korea.
The three-day event had ‘Beauty Made in Thailand’, a beauty initiative to support SMEs in global markets. There were many international buyers keen on getting proposals from local brands and innovative supply solutions.
Trends and market insights were shared during CosmoTalks and CosmoForum. Some of the speakers at this event included, ACA – ASEAN Cosmetics Association, Asia Cosme Lab, BEAUTYSTREAMS, Euromonitor International, Milott Laboratories, UDN Packaging Corporation, REVOMED (THAILAND) CO.,LTD, Thai Industrial Hemp Trade Association, and Unilever Beauty and Wellbeing SEA.
Cosmo Onstage saw live demos, competitions, and brand presentations. It also had the first edition of the World Massage Meeting for holistic experts and spa professionals where EMA – European Massage Association outlined the future of the massage industry focused on innovation, change, and excellence.
According to Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere Group, the event was a grand success with a 78% increase in attendance as compared to 2022. Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN is now a reference hub for stakeholders from all over the globe. Ying Sang, Deputy General, Manager of Shanghai Baiwen Co Ltd added, this exhibition is the best place for retailers, buyers, companies, and distributors to find new business in the ASEAN market. Its success is backed by the collaboration between BolognaFiere, Informa Markets, and China Beauty Expo.
