Meghavi Wellness, a homegrown spa and wellness operator, has opened a new Meghavi Spa Lounge at Mumbai International Airport’s Terminal 2 as part of its ambitious expansion plan. The company aims to scale up to 100 outlets by 2026.

Founded in 2014, Meghavi Wellness runs a mix of airport, hotel, and standalone spas. Currently, it manages three airport lounges, 35 hotel spas in chains such as Marriott, Novotel, Radisson, Lemon Tree, and Holiday Inn, along with 17 day spas in major cities. The brand entered the airport space in 2022 with a spa at Bhopal Airport.

The newly launched 871 sq. ft. lounge at Mumbai International features four treatment rooms, including a couple’s room, and offers therapies such as reflexology, facials, and body treatments. Guests can also experience zero-gravity chairs and vibro-acoustic beds designed for deep relaxation. This follows the July opening of another Meghavi spa at Mumbai Domestic Terminal, which has already served over 1,000 guests in the first month of its business and is expected to welcome 15,000 annually.

Co-founders Megha Dinesh and Prashant Jain explained that airports are an ideal setting for their concept, as travellers often face fatigue and stress during transit. The lounges, they noted, are designed to deliver quick, premium wellness services in high-pressure environments. Contracts for such facilities typically run long term, and in some cases, spas operate under white-label formats to align with airport branding. They expect to have high demand during the holiday season and business travel hours.

With a team of 700 therapists and its training academy, Meghavi Wellness focuses on consistent service standards. The founders also highlighted plans for international expansion, beginning with Southeast Asia and the Middle East, where interest has already come from hospitality partners in Dubai, Singapore, and Thailand. The company is simultaneously enhancing its digital platforms to provide a seamless guest experience across locations.
