  • LED/UV nail lamp

Steps:

1.Prep The Nails:
  • Remove any old nail polish.
  • Trim and shape the nails using a nail file.
  • Push back the cuticles with a cuticle pusher.
2.Apply Base Coat:
  • Apply a base coat to protect the nails and create a smooth surface for the polish. Cure under the LED for 60 seconds
3.Apply White Gel Polish:
  • Apply two coats of white gel polish. Cure each coat under the LED lamp for 60 seconds.

Ensure each coat is smooth and even.

4.Create the Butterfly Wings:
  • Using the pink gel polish, paint the shape of one butterfly wing on the nail. This can be a combination of two shapes as shown in the image below. Cure under the LED lamp.
5.Outline the Butterfly Wings:
  • Using a thin nail art brush or nail art pen dipped in Bluesky black gel paint, outline the shape of the wings. Draw the outlines as shown below. Cure under the LED lamp.
6.Add Details to the Wings:
  • Using the Bluesky black gel paint, add the inner details to the wings, such as the veins. Make sure to add thin lines from the center to the edges. Refer to the image for the pattern. Cure under the LED lamp.
7.Add Dots and Final Touches:
  • Add small dots along the edges of the wings with Bluesky black gel paint. Cure under the LED/UV lamp.
8.Apply No-wipe Top Coat:
  • Apply a top coat to seal in the design and add shine. Cure under the LED lamp for 60 seconds.

Tips:

  • Practice the design on a piece of paper before applying it to the nails.
  • Ensure each layer of polish is completely cured before applying the next to avoid smudging.
