New Delhi, September 1, 2025: The Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) has officially appointed Najeeb Ur Rehman as the Chief Expert for the Hairdressing Skill for the upcoming IndiaSkills Competition 2025.
The appointment, signed by Dr Blossom Kochhar, Chairperson of B&WSSC, and Monica Bahl, CEO of B&WSSC, recognizes Rehman’s exceptional expertise, dedication, and contribution toward advancing excellence in the hairdressing profession within the beauty and wellness sector.
In his new role, Rehman will take on the vital responsibility of training and mentoring Indian competitors who will represent the country at the WorldSkills Championship 2026 in Hairdressing.
Rehman currently serves as Technical Ambassador for Godrej Professional. This appointment further strengthens India’s commitment to developing world-class professionals in the beauty and wellness sector, aligning with the Skill India mission and the country’s vision for global excellence in vocational skills.
