The HBS Ladies Hair Cut Competition 2022 – Winning Look De-coded by Mukesh Sain

The recently concluded HBS 2022 Ladies Hair Cut Competition was won by Mukesh Sain, owner ofS and S Salon in Mumbai. Awinner of multiple awards in HBS Competitions 2018 and 2019, Mukesh was also among the 8 young talented hair and make-up artists selected as the StyleSpeak Young Gun 2022 and got the opportunity to do a live hair demo on the SS Young Guns Stage at HBS 2022.

Mukesh shared with StyleSpeak a decoding of the phenomenal look that got him the trophy at the HBS Ladies Hairdressing Competition. The steps you should follow to re-create this beautiful look are as follows:

Hair cut:Asymmetric Bob Collection

Theme: Retro look inspired by Vidal Sasson

Step 1
First cut the hair in short length and create graduation occipital bone.

Step 2
Then create a V shape on the back side and give it a slide graduation.

Step 3
Cut the hair from the left side in a diagonal forward section, step by step giving it a natural fall and slide graduation.

Step 4
Level the hair on the right side and over the direct back side cut the hair in a 45 degree angle. Then cut the diagonal section in the same step by step manner.

Step 5
Cut the front in a one side flick giving it a soft layer.

Step 6
Then blow dry and texturize the hair giving shape to the entire look .

Step 7
Finally fix the look using the styling Elnett.
