Scarlett Johannson launched The Outset, a clean beauty brand in March this year. The five product launch reflects the minimalist routine of the two-time Oscar-nominated actress. She chose a name other than her own so as to give the brand a unique identity. Scarlett felt it was time to start her own brand that stands out on its own having been a successful brand ambassador for quite a few brands. Centered on a three-step daily essential routine, the brand offers a moisturizer, cleanser, and prep serum, besides an eye and night cream. The direct to consumer brand is now available at Sephora.
