The 2023 Jio MAMI film festival witnessed a grand opening night in Mumbai’s Jio World Centre. Held from 27th October 2023 to 5th November 2023, the event is exciting news for cinephiles as many movies will be screened. The popular event’s grand opening ceremony saw several celebrities gracing the red carpet with some stunning beauty looks.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas – The Flawless Look
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the Chairperson of Jio MAMI, opened the ceremony by wearing a Tony Ward couture gown and accentuated it with a silk cape draped over the shoulders. For her accessories, the actress chose Bulgari jewellery. The makeup artist, Daniel Bauer decked her up with glam makeup and glossy mauve lip shade. For the hair, PC’s hairstylist Priyanka Borkar tied it up in a neat bun.
Kareena Kapoor Khan – The Elegant Look
Kareena Kapoor Khan donned a beautiful Rajesh Pratap Singh black gown with pink sleeves. She styled the deep V-neckline gown with statement earrings. For her hair, celebrity hairstylist Mike Desir went for a back-swept hairdo. To complete the look, Bebo’s makeup artist, Mickey Contractor, used pink-hued nude glam that included shimmery eyes, lustrous pink lips, mascara-coated lashes, pink cheeks, a glowing highlighter, and well-defined brows.
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja – Statement Chic
Bollywood beauty icon Sonam Kapoor Ahuja didn’t fail to make a statement in a stunning Tamara Ralph black velvet gown at the MAMI opening ceremony. The hem of this elegant black velvet dress was embellished with a lavish cage skirt decorated with pearl, crystal, and gold metal. The actress opted for an oversized pearl neckpiece and matching earrings. Namrata Soni, the makeup and hair artist, chose bold red lips, winged eyeliner, and matte makeup. For the hair, she chose a sleek bun styled in the middle that exuded elegance and poise.
Bhumi Pednekar – Desi Vibe
Bhumi Pednekar gave a desi touch to the red carpet by adding an interesting twist to it. For the event, the actress donned a bottle green colour bold saree by Vaishali S Couture. Featuring sustainable metallic Maheshwari silk, the saree also had plain organza fabric on one side and a pleated pattern on the other. To create a balance, the hair artist Sanky Evrus opted for an open straight hairdo. The flawless makeup with a dewy base, flushed cheeks, and glossy lips by Niccky Rajaani completed her look.
Tara Sutaria – Sophisticated Look
Tara Sutaria graced the red carpet with a heavily-embellished corset blouse, and a wrap skirt by Tarun Tahiliani, completing it with an embroidered long jacket. Sutaria’s makeup by Shraddha Inder Mehtathe was all done with a shimmery eye shadow, winged eyeliner, glowy blushed skin, and a beautiful mauve lip shade gave it a touch of sophistication. Her messy bun, done by Zoe Quiny, added an elevated charm to the look.
