The 18th Global Wellness Summit 2024 (GWS) is all set to take place from 4th– 7th November 2024, at the historic Kohler Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews, Scotland. The theme for this year’s GWS 2024 – ‘A Watershed Moment for Wellness’, calls on the wellness industry to address urgent global issues like climate change, mental health, and physical well-being. Though the event is sold out, interested participants can attend the event virtually via Summit on Demand, ensuring wellness insights are accessible worldwide.

Nancy Davis, the Chief Creative Officer of GWS, describes the summit as an opportunity for leaders to unite resources for the greater good. With a lineup of influential speakers, GWS 2024 aims to cover crucial topics such as Water Management, AI in Wellness, and Mental Health. Filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg is set to open each day of GWS 2024 with nature-inspired films. The sessions at this summit will include insights from Lindsay Madden-Nadeau, J. Carl Ganter and renowned Sleep Scientist Dr. Rebecca Robbins. Additionally, Anna Bjurstam will lead a discussion on ‘Neuroaesthetics in Mental Wellbeing’, offering a fresh perspective on mental health.

The key highlight of GWS 2024 will be the unveiling of the Global Wellness Economy Monitor 2024 by Katherine Johnston and Ophelia Yeung of the Global Wellness Institute. The report provides insights into the $5.6 trillion wellness market and its future growth trends, helping guide industry investments.

The summit is also set to host the ‘Shark Tank of Wellness’, a competition for student innovators, and celebrate leaders with awards like the ‘Leading Woman in Wellness’ Award and the ‘Debra Simon Award’ for furthering mental wellness.

Additionally, networking events will include a Scottish welcome reception, a dine-around experience along with a gala at Falside Mill. GWS 2024 will also witness various wellness activities such as morning yoga and ‘walkshops’.
