Tata-led brand, Trent has launched Zudio Beauty, making an entry in the mass-market segment. The brand will be in competition with Elle18, Colorbar, Sugar Cosmetics, and Health & Glow. The main aim to launch Zudio Beauty was to benefit from the burgeoning affordable beauty products market. The first Zudio Beauty store has been launched in Bengaluru and there are further plans to expand in other cities including, Pune, Hyderabad, and Gurugram.
After the successful running of Zudio, Trent’s apparel brand, it now wants to venture into affordable beauty segment and if it does as well as its apparel counterpart, it could be the next success for Trent.

Zudio was launched in FY 2017 and grew swiftly due to its exclusive design offering and loss gross-margin. Now the brand’s revenue per square foot is double the industry average. By FY 2022, it had crossed Westside in the number of stores and also by revenue in FY 2024 .
