Prada first attempt to enter the beauty market was way back in 2000 but soon had to shut it down. In August 2023, it re-entered the beauty segment and signed a licensing agreement with L’Oréal, which had bought over its fragrance license in 2019. In July 2024, Prada Beauty started its first pop-up store at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 in Korea in partnership with Shinsegae Duty Free (Shinsegae DF).
In India, it plans to be available through many touchpoints with more boutiques as well as to have a presence in premier beauty stores as a shop-in-shop and gondolas, in the future.
