In honour of World Mental Health Day, professional tennis player and mental health advocate Naomi Osaka has been named Maybelline’s first-ever ambassador for Brave Together. The appointment of Naomi Osaka marks a significant step in the brand’s commitment to promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for individuals struggling with mental health disorders.

Launched in the year 2020, Maybelline’s Brave Together was created with the goal of creating a safe space for individuals to speak openly about mental health. The program focuses on breaking the stigma around mental health challenges and offering resources to people who are in need of it. With Osaka as the face of this campaign, Maybelline is sure that the message to take care of one’s mental health will be amplified further.

Naomi Osaka, a four-time Grand Slam Champion, has always been very vocal about her own mental health journey. Stressing upon the importance of the mental well-being of athletes, she said- “Taking care of your mental health is as important as taking care of your physical health. It can feel intimidating to seek help, so I’m excited to partner with Maybelline to support the Brave Together program to let everyone know that they are never alone in their struggles.”
