Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton is making its foray into the beauty industry with the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton this fall. To lead this venture, the brand has appointed legendary British makeup artist Pat McGrath as its Creative Director.
The expansion into beauty comes at a time when luxury fashion brands are seeking new revenue streams amid slowing demand for high-end fashion. By venturing into makeup, Louis Vuitton aims to reach a wider audience, offering luxury in a more accessible form.

McGrath, known for her bold, trendsetting artistry, has been a major force in the beauty and fashion industry for decades. Her collaborations have influenced runway trends, including recent work at Maison Margiela’s fashion show, where she created the now-iconic porcelain-glazed skin effect.
