Wella Professionals hosts Illuminage – India’s biggest online hair colour event

Wella Professionals hosted Illuminage – the New Age Balayage, an online hair colour event to teach new hair color techniques. As an offering to support the salon community, the brand decided to make it an industry open event allowing anyone interested in learning to join it. The event saw a massive participation of more than 6,000 hairdressers from across India. The session covered 5 looks using 3 different techniques. The techniques covered included gentle face-framing and blended highlights, No-Bleach-Balayage, Illuminage service for a natural look, and High Drama Illuminage for expressive layers, giving an instant lift. Speaking about the launch, Manish Bhagat, G.M. Wella Company (Indian Sub-continent) said “The sole aim of this launch is to empower stylists with enhanced skills and support the professional community at a time when they need it most.” Leading hairstylists Natasha Naegamvala, Elton Steve, and Rohan Patel showcased the different techniques at the event.
