Sephora aims at retail expansion by opening 50 stores in India by 2022. The brand recently launched its 23rd store at Nexus Mall-operated AhmedabadOne Mall in the city followed by Surat and Vadodara. Since its partnership with Arvind Fashions in 2015, Sephora has opened 23 stores in India so far. Commenting on the growth plans, Vivek Bali, CEO, and Sephora India at Arvind Beauty Brands said, “We plan to add 6-8 stores every year and eventually reach 50 stores by 2022 as per our target. While the market itself is growing at 18 percent, we have clocked a CAGR of 63 percent over the last four years.”
