P&G India has started a solar plant at its manufacturing site in Hyderabad to reduce its carbon footprint. This is the 5th such site globally. Spread across 16,000 square meters, the plant has 3,000 panels and a capacity to produce 1 MW. This will reduce its carbon pressure by 1,030 tons annually. Environmental sustainability is central to the company’s operations, the increasing the use of renewable electricity by P&G is a critical crucial for  its renewable journey.
