Clare Anderson, the founder of brands Lava Shells and kokolokahi, has launched a product house and holistic wellbeing brand called Sensory Retreats. The brand offers restorative massage treatments, a range of retail products and stimulating personal experiences, designed to reinvigorate all five senses to elevate one’s overall wellbeing. Anderson explains the idea, “I felt that traditional massage treatments and aftercare were only working on one or two of the senses. As a result, Sensory Retreats was born.” Sensory Retreats already announced plans to expand their treatment range in March 2020.
