Kao Corporation has come up with a study that shows that the shape of women’s lips and surrounding area changes with age.
In its latest research, the organization focuses on noticing the overall changes in the lip shape among Japanese women along with collective statistics on age-related changes. The study found out that thickness of the lower and upper lips reduced with age but the width of the lips increased. It also showed that the size of the area between the nose and the upper lip increased and become rounder with age. It in fact, develops a convex curve that increases with age. Also, women’s lips tend to become thinner. All these changes are seen in women when they turn 40 years of age.
