Following a petition by well-known hairstylist Vipul Chudasama, a the recent one by the All India Hair & Beauty Association (AIHBA) to Uddhav Thackeray, appealed for financial aid to people working in hair salons. The salon staff are facing the challenge of surviving day to day since the lock down according to Uday Takke, V.P. AIHBA. In his letter to Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray, he mentioned that the workers in this profession do not possess other skills and requested the state government to provide the them with three months of salary during this lockdown period.
