Godrej Professional, the premium hair brand from Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL), has named Bollywood star Sharvari as its first-ever brand ambassador. The announcement was made at the grand finale of Godrej Professional Spotlight, a national platform recognising hairstyling talent. According to the brand, Sharvari epitomises the brand’s ethos of style, confidence, and empowerment. Her vibrant personality and fashion-forward image make her an ideal fit for Godrej Professional, a leader in hair care innovation.

At the event, Sharvari unveiled 2025’s trending hair colours and styles. Curated by Godrej Professional’s creative team, it included Yianni Tsapatori, Shailesh Moolya, and Najeeb-Ur-Rehman. The Spotlight Awards celebrated hairstyling excellence, with over 400 entries received. Winners included Bhavin Bavaliya (Rajkot), who took first place with INR 5 lakh and a celebrity collaboration. Similarly, Priyanka Sinha (Kolkata) took second place with INR 2.5 lakh. Meanwhile, Laltlan Kimi (Bengaluru) took third with INR 1.5 lakh. The jury featured industry stalwarts Yianni Tsapatori and Monica Bahl, alongside actresses Adaa Khan and Helly Shah.

Finalists also participated in a government-certified skill development program by the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council, earning credentials aligned with the National Skill Qualification Framework.
Monica Bahl, CEO, Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC), lauded the initiative as “a shining example of elevating Indian hairstyling talent to global standards.”
The event, hosted by actor Karanvir Bohra, brought together over 300 hairstylists to celebrate creativity and excellence, marking a significant milestone in Godrej Professional’s mission to empower India’s beauty industry.
