To mark Earth Day 2025, Aveda, in collaboration with the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, launched a meaningful initiative combining environmental and animal welfare efforts. The event took place at Friendicoes SECA, a shelter for rescued animals located in Village Gopalpur, Gurugram, India. In line with Aveda’s core values of sustainability, compassion, and cruelty-free beauty, the team planted 100 native trees and provided nutritious meals for the shelter animals throughout the day.

Friendicoes SECA serves as a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, and rescued animals such as cows, dogs, cats, and more. Entirely reliant on donations, the shelter is committed to the care, rehabilitation, and protection of animals in need. Aveda’s support not only contributed to improving the habitat’s green cover but also helped ensure the well-being of the animals by meeting their dietary needs.
