Doctors from Miami-based Sai Ayurvedic Institute have come to Goa to undergo training at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Ayurveda. Talking about the program, Dr. Rupali Panse, the programme coordinator for Sai Ayurvedic said that this is the first ever program to get structured training in Ayurveda.
In this three-week course, 12 representatives from the Miami institute will get trained in the ancient practice, enhancing their skills and expertise. The final aim is to make this annual event to expand professional growth and indulge in a cultural exchange in the sphere of Ayurvedic practices.

During the program, the tourism department of Goa conducted a tour for the global delegates where they were taken to a spice plantation in Ponda and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Panaji. This tour will help showcase the essence of Goa that is much more than beaches. Deepak Narvekar, the GTDC’s deputy general manager of marketing added that this initiative will help position Goa as a holistic wellness hub as well as promote wellness tourism.
