Dermalogica India wrapped up the fifth iteration of Dermalogica PROSkin Masters 2024. A much sought-after competition for licensed skin therapists. this is an annual competition to determine the nation’s best skin therapist by putting their knowledge, abilities, and competence to the test. To announce the 2024 edition winners, Ms. Heather Hickman, Global Vice President (Education), Dermalogica, was in attendance.
On August 19, 2024, at the Unilever campus in Mumbai, 15 finalists competed in the 5th edition of the Dermalogica PROSkin Masters 2024. A distinguished panel, comprising Dr. Madhuri Agarwal, Founder and Medical Director of Yavana Aesthetics, Ms. Heather Hickman, Global Vice President of Education, and Dr. Zubin Mandlewala as jury members, assessed the grand finale.
Ms. Nabina Adhikari of Lakme Salon in Lucknow was victorious in an exciting final, earning the esteemed title of “Best Skin Therapist of India 2024.” She receives a three-day educational trip to the Dermalogica Center in Leatherhead, London, as well as a financial reward of Rs. 1 lakh in addition to the title and trophy. The first and second runners up were announced as Ms. Sudipta Mondal from Lakme Salon in Kolkata and Ms. Shubhangi Jadhav from Envi Salon & Spa in Mumbai.

2500 competitors from more than 1000 salons nationwide competed in the 2024 edition of dermalogica PROSkin Masters. Before going to the finals, the competitors had to pass a written exam and, for the top 150, an in-person interview with an international educator. The regional finals in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru were attended by the Top 60. In front of a live audience and jury, the top 15 competitors from each of the four zones gave a customized, 60-minute treatment to a client they met at random during the high-stress final. Their knowledge of skin health issues, consulting skills, service delivery, and shop recommendations were evaluated. In the fiercely contested tournament, passion, ability, and technique were brilliantly displayed.
