The strict and mandatory two-month lockdown was lifted in France on Monday, paving way for various businesses, shops and French hairdressers to reopen. In light of this, 60% of French people stated that they will book an appointment for a haircut within the first week itself. Meanwhile, few hair salons have witnessed a surge in the appointments and are running fully booked for the next three weeks. To ensure safety of the people, the government has issued strict guidelines for the salons as well as the clients including protective masks, regular hygiene maintenance and prohibition of daily comforts like magazines and beverages.
