Marico Innovation Foundation’s COVID Challenge Winners

Marico Innovation Foundation’s Innovate2BeatCovid challenge has found 3 winning innovators. The three Personal Protective Gear (PPE) innovations won a total grant of INR 1.57 crores. The winning organisations include CREA (INR 41,00,000), Log 9 Materials Scientific (INR 76,00,000) and Saral Design Solutions (INR 40,00,000). MIF’s nationwide challenge was to unearth innovations to find superior quality, innovative and affordable PPEs and ventilators to combat the current shortage to support the challenges faced by the medical fraternity. The foundation aim’s to distribute more than 3.5L masks, 50K complete PPE kits and 4.5K sterilization units within the next two to three months. Further, their motive is to lay a foundation for a strong support system that will continue to lessen the challenges of the nation.
