Lakmé Lever Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Siddhesh Upadhyay as its Chief Operating Officer, with the promotion taking effect in April 2026. A part of the organisation for nearly 12 years, Upadhyay moves into the role after leading business operations for the company’s network of more than 450 Lakmé Salons across India.

In his new position, he will oversee the company’s operational and business priorities while working closely with the leadership team. His responsibilities include supporting network expansion, delivering the organisation’s annual and long-term business objectives, and strengthening the experience of both salon customers and franchise partners.

Before assuming the COO role, Upadhyay held several leadership positions within Lakmé Lever, covering regional operations, business analytics, performance improvement and national business management. Most recently, he was responsible for overseeing the company’s salon business across the country, where he focused on operational performance, profitability and expansion initiatives.

The appointment was announced by Upadhyay through a social media post. Reflecting on the milestone, he acknowledged the contribution of colleagues, mentors and team members who had supported him throughout his professional journey, adding that the promotion represented a collective achievement rather than an individual one.

Before joining Lakmé Lever, Upadhyay built his career across consumer services and retail with organisations including Jubilant Retail, Sony India and McDonald’s India. Over more than two decades, he has gained experience in operations, sales leadership and large-format retail management.

He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from MICA – The School of Ideas.

The leadership change comes as Lakmé Lever continues to strengthen its management team to support future business growth. Alongside expanding its salon footprint, the company is focusing on enhancing customer engagement and reinforcing relationships with franchise partners as the professional beauty industry continues to evolve. Upadhyay will also help drive the organisation’s strategic direction in line with Lakmé Lever’s long-term vision, Beautify the Future.
