K18 Biomimetic Hairscience has rolled out the K18 PRO Artist Program, a global initiative to strengthen its professional salon network through targeted education, resource support, and increased stylist engagement. The program functions as both a training platform and an ambassador network, bringing independent educators into the brand’s global fold.

Centred on educator-driven learning, the initiative taps into working salon professionals to deliver training across core disciplines such as haircutting, colouring, and styling, alongside sessions that decode the science behind K18’s biomimetic technology. These artists will also act as representatives for the brand across key regions, contributing to a more connected international education system. The rollout spans the U.S., U.K., Australia, parts of Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, with an emphasis on widening access to both in-salon and digital learning formats.

As part of the program, participating artists will receive dedicated product access, teaching resources, and marketing visibility through the brand’s professional and distributor ecosystem under Unilever. They will also be involved in brand-driven activities, including workshops, events, and campaign collaborations.

The move underscores a larger push within the professional beauty sector, where education is increasingly being used to build stronger relationships with stylists and encourage product adoption within salons. Kathy Lewis, SVP of Global Education at K18, indicated that the program is intended to spotlight educators already influencing the industry, while also evolving the structure of contemporary hair education. She noted that this approach aligns with a growing emphasis on maintaining long-term hair health within the professional space.

Applications for the program are currently open, with recruitment taking place through digital submissions, direct outreach, and the brand’s existing stylist community. The focus remains on independent educators who run regular training sessions and have established credibility within the industry.
