French beauty powerhouse L’Oréal has unveiled a new, revolutionary vision for the future of beauty technology with the introduction of three advanced, infrared light-powered devices, revealed during the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. These hi-tech products are expected to reshape the global beauty tech landscape by 2027.
The upcoming product lineup includes the Light Straight + Multi-styler, an LED Face Mask, and LED Eye Masks. Each device leverages infrared light technology designed to deliver high performance while minimizing damage and maximizing efficiency. With this move, the company aims to bring the professional-grade, science-backed beauty solutions directly into consumers’ homes.
Throwing light on the new launch at the event, Barbara Lavernos, Deputy CEO in charge of Research, Innovation and Technology at L’Oréal Groupe, said, “At L’Oréal, we have always believed that beauty is deeply connected to scientific discovery, a belief that has been central to our company since its inception over 115 years ago.”
She added, “This year, our pioneering advancements in light technologies at CES 2026 once again demonstrate our commitment to pushing the boundaries of new beauty solutions.”

More about the devices
The Light Straight + Multi-styler is engineered to transform hair styling by using infrared light to straighten and style hair with greater precision and reduced heat stress. By targeting the hair fibre more evenly, the device aims to deliver smoother results while preserving hair health.
In skincare, the LED Face Mask and LED Eye Masks are designed to support skin regeneration and overall skin quality. Using carefully calibrated light wavelengths, the devices are intended to address concerns such as skin tone, texture and signs of fatigue, while offering a convenient, at-home alternative to in-clinic treatments.
With this power move, L’Oréal aims to dominate the fast-growing beauty devices market, reinforcing its role as a global pioneer in beauty and personal care technology.
