A state-of-the-art international yoga and wellness centre is slated to be built in Baghpat’s Hariya Kheda village, in Lucknow, aiming to become a prime tourist hub for health-focused International and domestic tourists. Spread across 70.885 hectares, the center will incorporate the best aspects of India’s experience with spiritual, health, and wellness modernized for International appeal. Moreover, it will be the country’s largest yoga center, making its mark among the variety of India’s tourism offerings.  With facilities for yoga, and encouraging mental, physical, and spiritual health, the center will also provide other opportunities for holistic development.
India Cabinet gave its approval for this public-private partnership (PPP) venture as part of its efforts to stimulate Uttar Pradesh’s economy by pushing business growth, employment numbers, and generating revenue.  Wellness tourism is booming since the Covid-19 pandemic, and an increasing interest from International tourists in India’s medical tourism and wellness sector.
