Michelin guide awarded four properties, in four categories across the world. In architecture and design, Atlantis The Royal (Dubai) stood out with its bold reimagining of the skyscraper into a layered, indoor-outdoor “neighbourhood” structure. Meanwhile, Bürgenstock Resort (Switzerland) earned the wellness title for blending a century of heritage with one of the largest spa complexes in Europe, set high above Lake Lucerne.
For embedding local character into guest experiences, La Fiermontina Ocean (Morocco) clinched the Local Gateway award, leveraging close partnerships with community organizations to integrate tourism and regional culture. In the “Opening of the Year” category, The Burman Hotel (Estonia) impressed by launching a boutique in Tallinn’s UNESCO Old Town that feels larger in impact than its modest size suggests.
The selections were made by Michelin inspectors over the summer and fall of 2025, with finalists evaluated in each category before winners were revealed at a Paris event in early October.
