In a significant leadership shift, consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (P&G) has announced a new wave of executives of Indian origin at the forefront of its global operations, with Freddy Bharucha named the next CEO of P&G Beauty.
Bharucha, currently President of Global Personal Care, will step into the role on December 1, 2025, succeeding Alexandra Keith, who retires in February 2026 after an illustrious 36-year journey with the company. Based in Geneva, Bharucha will oversee an extensive portfolio, including Olay, Pantene, and SK-II, which will drive strategy across luxury and mass-market beauty.
This appointment strengthens the growing influence of Indian-origin talent within P&G’s global leadership ranks. Earlier this year, Shailesh Jejurikar, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, was named Global CEO of P&G, effective January 1, 2026. He replaced Jon Moeller as the President and CEO of Procter & Gamble (P&G). He joins a powerful line-up of India-born executives already shaping P&G’s global strategy, including Sundar Raman (CEO, Fabric & Home Care), Bala Purushothaman (CHRO), and Kirti Singh (Chief Market Knowledge Officer).
Bharucha, a Mumbai-born leader with more than two decades at P&G, has built a reputation for steering growth across skincare and haircare, with stints spanning North America, China, and Asia. His elevation marks not just a personal milestone but also a broader reflection of India’s rising leadership presence on the global stage.
With Jejurikar and Bharucha leading the company from the top, it signals a new chapter for P&G.
