Ralph Lauren Fragrances has unveiled its latest men’s scent, Ralph’s Club New York Eau de Parfum, with none other than eight-time Grammy winner Usher as the face of the campaign. This new collaboration represents a turning point for the brand, as it partners with a major music icon for the first time in its fragrance history.
The campaign blends contemporary swagger with old-world sophistication, echoing the golden age of Manhattan. Usher adds his unique spin to the legendary song “New York, New York,” originally made famous by Frank Sinatra, embodying the scent’s spirit of timeless glamour and charisma.
Charles Finaz de Villaine, Global President of Ralph Lauren Fragrances, described this chapter as the most daring and expressive the brand has entered. He said Usher perfectly captures the energy, confidence, and creativity Ralph’s Club New York aims to project.
Expressing pride in joining the Ralph Lauren family, Usher said he deeply admired Mr. Lauren’s legacy. He shared that the brand aligns with who he strives to be—as an entrepreneur, a creative force, and a man. He added that the partnership felt like a personal homecoming.
Ralph’s Club New York Eau de Parfum is housed in an elegant silver flask-style bottle, embossed with the Ralph Lauren insignia. The fragrance opens with blackcurrant, green mandarin, and bergamot, evolves into lavender, geranium, and sandalwood, and settles into a rich base of oak moss, balsam fir, and bourbon vanilla. It retails at £120 for 110ml.
The 46-year-old artist, whose chart-topping tracks include “Yeah!”, “U Got It Bad” and “Confessions,” were selected for his timeless style, magnetic presence, and refined masculinity. The brand praised his enduring appeal and multi-faceted persona, noting that he epitomises the values behind the fragrance.
Beyond music, Usher has earned accolades for his high-profile Las Vegas residency and his philanthropic work through the New Look Foundation, which has helped empower tens of thousands of young people over the past 25 years.
