The 57th edition draws over 255,000 professionals from 150+ countries, reaffirming the event’s role as the global industry’s primary gathering point.

For four days in late March, Bologna functioned as the operational centre of the global cosmetics industry. The 57th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna concluded with figures that reflected not just participation, but purposeful engagement — 255,000 professionals from more than 150 countries, 3,104 exhibiting companies across 68 nations, and over 10,000 brands represented under one roof.

A High-Value Edition for the Industry

Scale alone does not define an industry event. What distinguished this edition was the calibre of attendance. Buyers, distributors, retailers, and professional operators arrived with clear intent — to build partnerships, assess new directions, and position themselves within a supply chain that continues to evolve at pace. Incoming programs and matchmaking tools facilitated targeted interactions across segments, enabling conversations that extended well beyond the exhibition floor.

“The beauty sector continues to demonstrate an extraordinary capacity for resilience, even in a complex and constantly evolving geopolitical context,” noted Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. “Cosmoprof once again stands out as a privileged observatory of the industry’s transformations — capable of attracting a highly qualified audience and recording significant participation from strategic markets.”

Education, Innovation, and Industry Direction

Alongside commerce, the edition maintained a robust content programme. Roundtables, masterclasses, and educational sessions drew international experts, opinion leaders, and media professionals, addressing the themes currently shaping the sector’s next phase — sustainability, artificial intelligence, evolving formulation standards, and the shifting patterns of professional and consumer behaviour.

The involvement of Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, alongside ITA – Italian Trade Agency, contributed to the presence of high-profile buyer delegations from key markets. Cosmetica Italia continued its collaboration, reinforcing the visibility of Italian supply chain excellence within the global competitive context.
