Intending to boost equality in the world, Unilever has committed to removing the word ‘normal’ from all its beauty and personal care products. Additionally, they will also abstain from ‘digital alterations’ of body shapes and skin colour of models in its advertisements. Sunny Jain, president of Unilever Beauty & Personal Care stated on the company website that they are aware that removing ‘normal’ from their products and packaging will not fix the problem alone but it is an important step forward.
