Omicron symptoms include a change in colour in nails

While much remains unknown about the highly transmissible Omicron variant, experts have stated that the new strain’s symptoms are clearly different from the variants seen so far. One such symptom of the virus occurs on the nails, skin and lips. According to the report by The American Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), people should be on the lookout for pale, grey, or blue coloured nail beds, skin or lips, as this can indicate low levels of oxygen in the blood. These symptoms are classified as ‘emergency warning signs’ by the medical body.
