This therapy is a medical procedure provided by aesthetic skin clinics across the world and some drip bars. Glutathione is a super anti oxidant which has many super powers like helping with tissue regeneration,liver regeneration, reducing risk of heart attack, protecting against free radical damage and skin brightening. Injecting a brightening mix of intravenously has been the secret of celebrities for a long time and is now available to all.

Glutathione is made naturally in the body to protect body against free radical and oxidation. When excess glutathione is available, the body produces a lighter pigment thus making the person lookbrighter and in some cases lighter. A reduced form of glutathione combined with Vitamin C is the best. The rage is once a week injections until skin looks brighter and smoother. Pooja Goel, Director of Khoobsurat Saloon, Spa & Academy in Delhi (Rohini & Paschim Vihar)says, “treatment of pigmentation or discoloration is done through lasers, soafter the treatment there should be no exposure to sun and lots of sun screen should be used, twice or thrice a day.” Skin therapy should be done before or after any kind chemical treatment such as face bleach, chemical peels, severe sun tan with rash, any kind of burn/rashes and the like. Dr. (Maj Gen) A S Bath, Sr. Consultant & Unit Head, Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery, BLK Super Speciality Hospital advices, “these treatments should be performed only by doctors with proper qualification and adequate training and experience. These procedures should be performed in a facility where proper aseptic precautionscan be observed.” Dr. Rajneesh Kumar, Spa Manager at Six Senses Spa, JaypeeGreens Golf & Spa Resort adds, “skin assessment and any known history of allergies should be taken into account, overall these treatments are safe to experience. It is always recommended to avoid sun exposure after having facials as the skin is tender. Men are advised to shave at least 3-4 hour before having a facial.”
