Ageing hands – A real skin care concern

Survey conducted by Wakefield Research on ageing hands
30 September, 2018

In a survey conducted by Wakefield Research, US women over 40 reported concerns about the changing look of their hands over time. The survey found that 63% of women are interested in having a non-surgical cosmetic procedure or treatment to improve the appearance of their hands. This data will have implications for topical skin care makers. Joel L. Cohen, a trial investigator for the Nestlé Skin Health injectables and a board-certified dermatologist working in Colarado says, “Over time, the skin on the hands loses volume which can result in a less youthful appearance. Many women spend time perfecting their facial beauty routine forgetting about their hands.”
